Cd factor for transmission line cluster in iced condition was changed from 1.5 to 1.2 Users have found that in some cases the loads on appurtenances in S37-13 are higher than in S37-01. This is due to the new drag coefficients, Cd, in S37-13 for flat elements with aspect ratios >10, which are higher than the 1.5 used in S37-01. Of course, for those with aspect ratios less than 10, there will be a decrease in drag coefficient (see Table 2 - drag coefficient, Cd, for attachments).
